Norfolk Telecom SMS Notification Messages

Norfolk Telecom customers will receive SMS notification messages to advise when a data limit is reached and, when your bundle is due to expire.

Many customers will have received a text message this week advising that you had reached 100% of your Local Mobile Plan data limit. You are receiving this message because the SIM card that you were given is loaded with 200MB of internet data. This data amount is free of charge and allows you to download the Self Care APP without connecting to a WIFI service.

If you have downloaded the Self Care APP using the 3G/4G service, then this data limited will have been absorbed and you will have received a notification by SMS. If you did not download the APP, then it is likely that applications on your phone, as well as open web browsers will have absorbed this data and this is why you will have received a message.
